Aloe Co imbeds Business Intelligence in EnterpriseOne ERP

Aloe Co has embedded a business analysis module (Business Intelligence) in the latest version of EnterpriseOne. The new module will eliminate the necessity for expensive external business analysis applications, thus allowing managers to rapidly find their bearings with regards to the state of the business and to take adequate, informed decisions. The new module will be accessible for EnterpriseOne clients - version 2.3 and subsequent.

Business Intelligence is one of the fastest developing aspects in the field of business software and is especially important for a managing team wishing to take full advantage of a deployed ERP system  (Enterprise Resource Planning). Business analysis systems use data from ERP, CRM, accounting applications and other software platforms in order to provide detailed analyses of company processes. They can provide answers to specific questions with regards to the work of specific teams, separate POS or consumer preferences within different time periods.

Business Intelligence is becoming a rapidly developing sub-segment of business software and I expect that the demand for such solutions will increase significantly over the next few months. More and more managers come to realize the benefits of having at their hand all necessary analyses and samples indicating the development of their business - at any time, by means of any device. Business analysis solutions are a hot trend and we are ready to meet this demand with the new imbedded BI module of EnterpriseOne,” says Ivan Arzhentinski, manager of Aloe Co.

The new functionality is aimed mainly at medium and large enterprises, as EnterpriseOne continues to offer its “Cross-sectional Analysis“ for micro- and small enterprises – a detailed instrument allowing analysis of databases of up to 10 GB. The new summary instrument is based on Microsoft Analysis Services and has no upper limit for database capacity. The initial tests were carried out on databases of 250 GB and achieved excellent results – none of the aggregations took more than 3 seconds for screen visualization. This means that, in reality, managers can receive rapid results without having to wait for the different cross-sections of the data they require. In addition, the security system of the new instrument allows data access restrictions across all layers.
